About this board game

Beacon Patrol: Leuchtturm voraus! is a cooperative tile-laying exploration game for 1–4 players, with a play time of about 30 minutes.

Players take the roles of Coast Guard captains, working together to navigate the North Sea coast. Their mission is to check beacon buoys and lighthouses and help ensure the safety of the coast.

During the game, players place tiles next to tiles that are already in play, move their ships, and explore the sea. Every placement helps extend the coastal area while creating new opportunities to continue the expedition.

A tile is considered explored when it is connected to other tiles on all four sides. Players therefore need to build outward and complete connections as they explore, turning individual placements into a growing coastal route.
