Beat the 8 Ball is a patience-and-skill game for 2–4 players that takes about 10 minutes to play. Players release their balls along a scoring track, trying to build the highest score before the game ends.

At the start of play, the eight ball is set spinning in its funnel. Each player must decide when to release their own marble, balancing the chance to score more points against the risk of waiting too long. The central challenge is timing: beat the eight ball to the scoring track and earn points, or come in after it and lose points.

Scoring rewards bold decisions. The later your ball is, the more points it can earn, making every release a test of patience and judgment. But the eight ball eventually drops and blocks the scoring track, so holding back can be just as dangerous as releasing too soon.
