Bee Lives: We Will Only Know Summer is a medium-weight Eurogame for 1–4 players, with a playing time of 120 minutes, about managing a wild bee hive through a year.

Players use resource management and worker placement to guide their own hive toward the best possible path for survival. Every decision takes place across two connected areas: an individual hive board and a shared external board.

The external board is made from tiles and is collaboratively built by all players during the game. This growing shared space becomes the setting for the hives’ competition over available resources.

• Swarm to propagate bees and score victory points.

During the game, you can swarm to propagate your bees and earn victory points. However, each newly formed wild hive also competes with your hive and the other players’ hives for resources on the board.

This creates a challenging balance between expanding your presence and securing what your hive needs. You must manage the changing opportunities on the shared board while developing a route that gives your hive the strongest chance of lasting through the year.
