Big City: 20th Anniversary Jumbo Edition – Urban Upgrade is an expansion for 2–5 players, with games listed at 60 minutes. Released in 2019, it adds new content to the Jumbo edition of Big City.

This expansion is designed specifically for the Jumbo edition and is not compatible with the original edition. It expands the available building, neighborhood, waterfront, and property components while also providing what is needed to add a fifth player.

The centerpiece is a collection of 15 additional large building miniatures. Four of these are brand-new building types never released before: the Police Station, Hospital, Parking Garage, and School.

The two additional Modular Neighborhood Boards introduce Neighborhood 9 and Neighborhood 0 to the Jumbo edition. A brand-new Waterfront Tile adds another component to the available set of game materials.

Additional player markers support play with up to five players, including a Scoring Marker and a +100 Marker. With its new miniatures, boards, tile, cards, and rules sheet, Urban Upgrade is a substantial content expansion for owners of the Big City: 20th Anniversary Jumbo Edition.
