About this board game

Boblin’s Rebellion is an engine-building game for 1–4 players, with games lasting around 40 minutes. Train a volatile army of goblins, conquer rooms throughout the dungeon, and lead a rebellion against the goblin king and his troll guardians.

Your central resource is also your army: Goblins. Begin by recruiting simple Stickler and Screamer goblins at camp, then look for opportunities to train them into more powerful specialists. Stabbers, Stalkers, Slingers, Sparklers, and Screamers each help build your path toward an assault on the dungeon’s overlords.

Descend into a dungeon divided into dangerous locations, each offering new possibilities for your growing rebellion. Learn new tricks in the mineshaft, establish strategic footholds in the ice caves, and eventually launch a furious attack on the goblin king’s lair in the inferno.

• Engine building: Develop your goblin force and seek opportunities to improve it.
• Volatile resource management: Your goblins are reckless and clumsy, requiring constant adjustment.
• Dungeon conquest: Take control of key rooms as your rebellion advances.
• Adaptation: Conquered rooms may be overused and destroyed, disrupting your carefully built engine.

Success requires more than creating an efficient army. As your goblins consume and wreck the rooms supporting your strategy, you must adapt and find the most effective way to keep the rebellion moving. The player who leads the most effective uprising earns ultimate fame and is crowned the winner.

Continuing the storyline of Dungeon Drop and its beloved unlikely hero, Boblin’s Rebellion includes the Terrible Trolls and Hero’s Help mini-expansions. It also includes a full set of heat-printed goblins and trolls for Dungeon Drop.
