About this board game

Bohnanza: Das Würfelspiel is a dice game for 2–5 players that takes about 30 minutes, challenging players to fulfill bean orders and collect ten Bohnentalers to win.

Each player begins with two order cards, and each card shows five orders. Use one card to record completed orders while the other covers those orders. Orders must be completed from the bottom upward: simpler challenges come first, while higher orders may demand combinations such as three matching beans and a rare bean.

On your turn, roll five bean dice. Set aside at least one bean, then reroll any remaining dice. Continue setting aside dice and rerolling for up to seven rolls, then reuse the dice as needed to complete as many available orders as possible.

  • Complete orders in bottom-to-top sequence.
  • After completing three orders, harvest the card for one coin.
  • Additional completed orders can add coins, up to a maximum of three.
  • After harvesting, draw a new order card and continue recording completed orders.

The active player is not the only one making progress. After every roll, all other players may use the dice just rolled—but not dice already set aside—to complete orders on their own cards. This shared opportunity gives the active player a reason to keep turns moving, since opponents may gain more from a roll than the roller does.

The game ends as soon as one or more players reach ten Bohnentalers, and the player with the most wins. Bohnanza: Das Würfelspiel uses fewer dice and five orders per card, along with a lower victory threshold and other changes compared with Würfel Bohnanza.
