About this board game

Boomtown Bandits is a 30-minute Wild West dice game for 2–5 players, in which rival bandits race to rob a boomtown and claim the most loot.

Each turn, players place two shooter tokens and one coward token around town. The tokens are placed face down, hiding each coward’s identity, before they are all revealed. Whenever competing bandits target the same location, a dramatic Wild West “draw” begins.

These shootouts use simultaneous dice rolling. Players roll as many corresponding dice as they allocated tokens, and the rolling continues until someone scores a hit or a coward runs. The real-time action creates frantic confrontations as bandits compete for the town’s most valuable targets.

• Rob locations such as the bank, train, stagecoach, and brothel.
• Use seven loot cards featuring strategic weapons and abilities.
• Resolve contested locations through continuous simultaneous dice rolling.
• Earn bonuses when the game ends and compete for the most loot.

Loot cards do more than represent your gains: they provide weapons and abilities that can help in future fights. Choosing where to place your tokens and when to risk a showdown is central to getting ahead.

The game ends when any location is out of cards. Bonuses are then awarded, and the bandit with the most loot wins. Released in 2015, Boomtown Bandits combines hidden identities, push-your-luck confrontations, and rapid-fire dice action into a lively race to become the baddest bandit of them all.
