About this board game

Breaking Bad: The Board Game is a competitive game for 3–8 players, with sessions lasting about 120 minutes. Released in 2017, it places players in the treacherous underbelly of Albuquerque, New Mexico, where criminal factions battle for control and the DEA closes in.

Criminal players can represent Heisenberg, Los Pollos Hermanos, or the Juarez Cartel. Their goal is to manufacture Blue Sky and sell the quantity needed to win before their opponents do. Rival factions can also be eliminated with cards that bomb, shoot, or otherwise take them out of the game.

One player may instead join the Drug Enforcement Administration. The DEA seeks to seize criminal labs by playing DEA Raid cards, and can win by eliminating every opponent through killing or putting them in jail.

On each turn, a player takes two actions. The available choices create a constant balance between building your operation, advancing your plans, and responding to threats from across the table:

• Draw a card.
• Play a card from your hand.
• Produce Blue Sky, when playing a dealer.
• Sell 1 Blue Sky on your faction board, when playing a dealer.
