Brief Border Wars is a two-player quadrigame of four mini-games, with each scenario covering a short border conflict from the 20th or 21st century. A complete play takes approximately 120 minutes.

Using a card-driven system, the game models the chaotic, stop-and-start nature of impromptu wars. This structure brings four distinct conflicts together in one collection, offering focused scenarios rather than a single extended campaign.

The included conflicts are:

• El Salvador versus Honduras, 1969
• The Turkish invasion of Cyprus, 1974
• China versus Vietnam, 1979
• Israel versus Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, 2006

Each mini-game examines one of these brief border wars through the same card-driven approach. The collection spans different regions and decades, while keeping its focus on conflicts that were limited in duration and shaped by sudden changes and interruptions.
