About this expansion

Castles of Mad King Ludwig: Expansions is a collection of modular additions for 1–5 players, bringing new ways to build, connect, score, and customize your castle. Every expansion is compatible with the 2nd edition and can be played separately or in any combination.

Rework your existing plans with Renovations, which introduces special double-room tiles placed directly on top of rooms already in your castle. Secret Passages help you fit rooms into hard-to-reach spaces while doubling connection bonuses, creating new possibilities for castle layouts.

Several additions focus on end-game rewards and scoring. Towers provide an additional end-game reward, while Moats let you surround your castle for extra victory points for each of your rooms. With Swan Tokens, collect sets that can be converted into money or end-game victory points.
