About this expansion

Catan: Explorers & Pirates – 5-6 Player Extension is an expansion for 5–6 players, with a play time of approximately 150 minutes. It adds the components needed for two more people to join a game of Catan: Explorers & Pirates.

With this extension, a larger group can take part in the varied activities of the Explorers & Pirates experience. Players can participate in building, trading, colonizing, fishing, sailing, pirate battling, and spice trading together around the table.

This product is designed to expand the player count of the existing game rather than serve as a standalone title. It adds a fifth and sixth player to the fourth major expansion for The Settlers of Catan, making it suitable for groups that want to explore its scenarios with more participants.
