About this expansion

Catapult Feud: Vikings! Expansion is a two-player expansion for Catapult Feud, with games lasting approximately 30 minutes. It introduces a new game mode in which Viking warriors advance across the battlefield while players build castles, position troops, and launch boulders.

During setup, place the Viking Longship at an equal distance between the players. Shuffle the Viking cards and place them face down beside the Longship, then position two Viking warriors per player in pairs. Each pair faces a different castle.

At the beginning of every round, the Viking warriors move forward, bringing them closer to the castles. This creates an additional threat to consider while you prepare your defenses and decide how to use your available tactics.

During the Tactics Phase, you may choose to reveal and resolve the top card from the Viking pile instead of playing an Action card from your hand. Decide when to use this option as the Vikings approach and the battlefield changes around your fortress.

Catapult Feud: Vikings! Expansion requires Catapult Feud to play. Originally marketed as Catapult Kingdoms: Vikings Expansion, it was released in 2021 and focuses on the dramatic construction and destruction of plastic castles, troops, and figures. Play fairly and carefully, keeping the battle safely away from people, pets, and anything other than your opponent’s fortress.
