Centauri Saga

About this board game

Centauri Saga is a sci-fi/4X board game for 1 to 4 players, with games lasting about 90 minutes. Players guide an armada through the unexplored sectors of Alpha Centauri, where hostile forces and dangerous phenomena await.

Each game begins with a mission that establishes the setting and defines the players’ goals. From there, the armada travels across hexagonal sectors while players confront a hidden alien menace. The journey combines exploration, mission-driven play, and space combat in a hostile system.

The crossing to Alpha Centauri is only the beginning. Extreme radiation, strange energy fluctuations, a gyrating asteroid field, and powerful solar winds create a hazardous environment. Alien ships emerge from the asteroid field, forcing the players to respond with their fleet.

• 1–4 players: Play alone or join forces with other captains.
• Co-operative and PvP modes: Experience the saga as a shared struggle or compete against other players.
• Mission-based objectives: Begin with a scenario that defines the setting and goals.
• Exploration and encounters: Move through unexplored hexagonal sectors and face Raiders and Bosses.

Stormcrows move into formation while the rail guns of Star Destroyers strike back at the attackers. But victory may be temporary: the Raiders will return, and the threat within the Centauri system remains.

With its combination of science-fiction atmosphere, 4X gameplay, exploration, and dangerous alien encounters, Centauri Saga invites players to begin an escalating space adventure. Your armada has crossed the Jumpgate. Now the saga begins.
