About this expansion
Claustrophobia: De Profundis is a two-player expansion for Croc’s Claustrophobia, with an average play time of 45 minutes. It adds new components, scenarios, and strategic choices while introducing only a small number of new rules.
At the heart of the expansion is a 52-card deck featuring new talents for the Brother Redeemer, new demons, events, and objects. These cards broaden the possibilities available during play, while powerful new event cards reduce the demon player’s hand size to three.
The expansion also adds ten new room tiles, including six new room types. These include the sanctified zone, demon pit, and tomb of the ancient warrior, giving the game more environments to explore and use across its scenarios.
- New talents, demons, events, and objects in a 52-card deck
- Ten new room tiles covering six new room types
- Four painted figures and additional markers
- Twelve new scenarios with play times ranging from 30 to 90 minutes
New rules remain focused and easy to track. Siccaria skills are now permanent, and a new beast joins the game, adding another distinct element to the expanding conflict.
With its additional cards, rooms, figures, and scenarios, Claustrophobia: De Profundis offers more variety without substantially increasing the rules overhead. It is a content-rich expansion for players seeking new ways to experience the claustrophobic descent.
