About this board game
Click A Tree is a tile-laying game for 1–4 players, with play time of about 60 minutes, in which Ghanaian farmers cultivate forests, complete tasks, and harvest fruit.
Players adapt to the climate by planting crops in the shade of trees. Build a strategic arrangement of landscape tiles, deploy harvest tiles with care, and grow your fruit markers across your player board. The shared market is formed from landscape tiles showing trees, fruit types, and letter combinations of A, B, or AB.
On your turn, choose a fruit marker and lower it by one space to collect the two landscape tiles surrounding it in the market. Add those tiles to your forest, then place one of your face-up harvest tiles. Each sickle beside a landscape tile earns fruit based on the size of that connected fruit group, rewarding thoughtful placement and expanding patterns.
Fruit cannot always advance immediately. To unlock higher levels, you must complete tasks by arranging matching trees in specific configurations, creating long lines, connecting trees with the same letter, or using harvest tiles in defined ways. When a task is completed, remove its strip and push the remaining tasks upward, making room for your fruit markers to progress.
- Tile laying: Build a forest from landscape tiles showing trees and fruit.
- Task completion: Fulfill varied objectives to unlock fruit advancement.
- Harvest management: Use sickles and fulfill harvest tiles to lower number markers.
- End-game race: Trigger the final round by moving enough fruit markers past the required number markers.
When the game ends, a sole player who triggered the end wins. If several players did so, they add the values of their fruit markers to determine the winner. In Click A Tree, every forest tile and harvest decision can shape your path to the most abundant harvest.
