About this expansion

Clinic: Deluxe Edition – 3rd Extension is an expansion collection for 1–4 players that adds 12 expansions and three related variants to Clinic: Deluxe Edition, with a listed play time of 120 minutes. Released in 2021, it explores unusual situations at the periphery of the clinic experience.

This edition follows the more serious and realistic expansions of The Extension and 2nd Extension with a selection of stranger, lighter, and sometimes alarming possibilities. Smoking, helicopter rides, ghosts, dog poop, and shrill fire truck sirens all become part of the expanded setting.

The included additions cover a broad range of themes and facilities:

• Cigarettes, Helicopters, and Fire Trucks
• Wheelchairs, Public Toilets, and a Temp Agency
• Triage, Ghosts, and Therapy Dogs
• A Gift Shop, Air Conditioners, and Urban Design 2.0

The gift shop may provide a last-minute present to cheer up a psychiatric patient, while the new air-conditioning system requires careful monitoring. The expansion also introduces the Temp Agency and Triage, along with new construction guidelines represented by Urban Design 2.0.

For additional variation, Variant 2: Easing the Stress includes three related options: Tough Doctors, Clever Doctors, and Humble Doctors. These variants offer further ways to approach a session without adding another separate expansion theme.
