Coimbra: Royal Treatment

About this expansion

Coimbra: Royal Treatment is a 2018 board game enhancement for 2–4 players, designed for sessions of approximately 90 minutes. It adds custom components and another layer of strategic decision-making to the experience.

The centerpiece is a set of four uniquely designed, dual-colored dice. These dice introduce a challenging new choice: players can opt for another income die or trade resources for different income. This added flexibility creates more possibilities while asking players to carefully consider which option best suits their plans.

Royal Treatment also includes another end-game scoring category. This gives the conclusion of the game an additional scoring consideration, making the final evaluation more varied.

The included deluxe dice box is felt-lined and serves as a dedicated dice tray during play. Alongside the dice and box, the set contains four wooden bells, with one in each color, as well as a rule book.
