Colt Express: Bandits – Django is a 2018 expansion for 2–5 players, with a playing time of about 60 minutes, that pits the bandits against a game-controlled opponent.

Each Bandits expansion introduces its own story, goal, and actions for the bandit controlled by the game. In Django’s story, dynamite is the central threat: he drops it wherever he is at the beginning of every round, making his position something every bandit must watch carefully.

Django can trigger an explosion action that sets off all the dynamite in the train. Any bandit inside or on the roof of an exploding wagon is ejected. The affected bandit gives Django their Wanted token and must spend their next action boarding the train again.

• Bandits caught in an exploding wagon are ejected and surrender their Wanted tokens.
• Ejected bandits must use their next action to board the train once more.

The players need to work together against Django, because he wins if he collects every bandit’s Wanted token. If Django succeeds, all the players lose. Yet cooperation is only part of the challenge: when the bot is defeated, there is still just one winner—the richest bandit.
