About this board game

Crazy Taco is a 30-minute restaurant-management board game for 1–2 players, offering a solo challenge or a direct 1-versus-1 game. Your uncle has left you in charge of his famous Mexican fast-food restaurant while he is away on business.

Your goal is to survive a hard day’s work without sinking the business. Direct your workers, choose what to do next, and keep client orders moving during a demanding shift. Clients may not have enough patience to wait, and serving them incorrectly or too slowly can make them leave and damage the restaurant’s reputation.

Every shift brings more than customer orders. You must deal with a range of duties while deciding how best to use your workers and keep the restaurant going.

• Manage client orders and customer patience.
• Handle cleaning duties and delivery trucks.
• Prepare for an inspector who may visit at any time.
• Use your earnings for workers’ extra hours or an advertising campaign.

Those earnings can also help recover some of the reputation your uncle’s business has lost. The central challenge is making the right choices as duties compete for attention throughout the day.

Designed as a solo game, Crazy Taco also lets two players defy one another in a 1-versus-1 contest. Play alone for a pure test of your ability to keep the restaurant operating, or challenge a friend to see who can better manage the pressure of the shift.
