About this board game

Critter Kitchen is a restaurant competition game for 1–5 players that takes about 60 minutes to play. During Restaurant Week in Bistro Bay, each player sends chefs across the city to gather ingredients, complete food challenges, and prove their restaurant is the best in town.

Each round, random ingredients appear at locations throughout the city. Players simultaneously and secretly plan where to send their three chefs, competing to collect the ingredients they need. Some chefs are fast but can gather only one item, while others arrive late but can carry up to three items.

Rumors are also available at city locations. These provide guidance about what the celebrity critic desires, helping players plan their meals and make informed choices about which ingredients to pursue.

Rounds 1–6 reveal challenges that give players opportunities to earn stars by crafting dishes with specific ingredient requirements. These challenges shape the competition while players gather resources and work toward the final test.
