Dark Darker Darkest is a cooperative survival horror game for 2–5 players, with sessions lasting about 120 minutes. Together, urban survivors must enter Doctor Mortimer’s house and find the antidote to a virus that is turning the world into an army of undead.

Exploration is central to the struggle. The house contains locked doors, hidden tools, security systems, and the secrets needed to reach the doctor’s laboratory. Players must gather the right equipment, use color-coded items, and discover door codes while trying to stay ahead of the dangers lurking within.

Every decision takes place under pressure. Destructive fires slowly consume locations, hordes of zombies and other terrifying creatures threaten the survivors, and security cameras watch over the house. The group must balance item management, stealth, exploration, and icon-driven combat as it works toward the antidote.
