About this board game

Das perfekte Wort is a competitive word game for 1–6 players that plays in about 15 minutes. Across nine rounds, players race to create the highest-scoring word from a changing letter and word-length challenge.

At the start of the game, a score card is drawn to determine how many points the different vowels are worth throughout the game. Each round then reveals a combination of a starting letter and a maximum word length. Players have one minute to think of a word that earns as many points as possible.

Your word must begin with the given letter and cannot exceed the stated length. Finding a valid word is worth points, while matching the maximum length can increase your score. The scoring system also rewards carefully chosen letters and words with several possible bonuses.
