Deep Rock Galactic: Biome Expansion is a 2024 board game expansion for 1–4 players, with play sessions lasting about 150 minutes. It takes players into a newly discovered region beneath the surface of Hoxxes IV, where valuable minerals await among dangerous new environments.

This unexplored underground territory introduces four new biomes, each filled with environmental challenges, biological hazards, and a host of new creatures. The caves may be rich in resources, but Hoxxes IV will not surrender its valuables easily.

Players must preserve their ammunition while exploring these hazardous regions and dealing with the creatures that inhabit them. The expansion calls for a mix of hacking, slashing, and shooting as you push through the underground dangers in search of valuable minerals.

Among the most formidable threats is the terrifying Dreadnought, described as the biggest creature encountered so far. It is even larger than the ugly Oppressor, making this enormous enemy a standout challenge for miners venturing into the new region.
