Der Pate is a 2010 Mafia strategy game for 2–4 players, with a playing time of about 60 minutes. Each player leads a New York Mafia clan and aims to earn more money than the other families through illegal activities.

Build your fortune by running businesses such as casinos and betting agencies. Rival clans will not simply stand aside, so you must use influence, intimidation, and carefully chosen actions to hinder their progress while advancing your own position.

You can tip off the FBI about an opponent’s activities or take the more direct route by initiating a vendetta. When the FBI shuts down a business, your Consigliere may help you make an offer the opposition cannot refuse and take it over for your clan.
