Descent: Journeys in the Dark (Second Edition) – Bol’Goreth Lieutenant Pack is a 2013 standalone expansion for 2–5 players. It brings a hulking, evil-tainted figure from the Valdari Swamp into your Descent games, allowing Bol’Goreth to appear without requiring the Trollfens campaign.

Bol’Goreth originally appeared as a new lieutenant for the Overlord to control in the Trollfens expansion. This pack makes him available separately, offering a straightforward way to add his presence to the game without needing to play that campaign.

At the heart of the pack is a sculpted plastic figure that can replace the existing lieutenant token. The detailed miniature gives Bol’Goreth a distinct physical presence on the board while representing the same lieutenant in play.

The Lieutenant Pack also introduces the Raging Infection Plot deck. Its specialized cards can be triggered during encounters by using deadly new threat tokens, adding a focused new element centered on infection and danger.
