Descent: Journeys in the Dark (Second Edition) – Ariad Lieutenant Pack is a Terrinoth expansion for 2–5 players, released in 2014, that gives the overlord a deadly new agent and fresh ways to unsettle the heroes.

Ariad is one of the overlord’s most cunning agents. Through her Dark Illusions Plot deck, the overlord can disguise dark schemes with mirages and phantoms, using deception to keep the heroes off balance as they journey toward their ultimate demise.

The pack also strengthens monsters with the Cursed trait, allowing them to benefit from Ariad’s influence. This connection between Ariad’s powers and Cursed monsters gives the overlord another way to pressure heroes across Terrinoth.
