About this board game

Dreamblade is a collectible miniatures game for two players, with matches lasting about 60 minutes. Released in 2006, it takes players into the dreamscape, a shifting realm shaped by humanity’s shared unconsciousness.

In this timeless landscape, specially trained psychics known as dream lords explore a world filled with ancient archetypes, modern terrors, and mismatched elements from the waking world. The reality created there reverberates through the minds of dreamers everywhere.

Players take on the roles of rival dream lords. Some seek to protect the dreamscape, others aim to dominate it, and others want to destroy it. By drawing upon psychic energies, each player creates formidable creatures and controls them in battle.

  • Command collectible miniatures in the dreamscape.
  • Create creatures using psychic energies.
  • Confront opponents and destroy their creations.
  • Drive rival dream lords from the shared realm.

The game’s setting combines familiar and unsettling ideas, creating a boundless environment of hopes and fears. Its miniatures and dreamlike conflicts bring the struggle for control of this shared realm to the tabletop.

Dreamblade was discontinued in October 2007, and no further sets were produced. Its released collection includes the 96-miniature Base Set, followed by Baxar’s War, Chrysotic Plague, Anvilborn, and Night Fusion, each containing 60 miniatures.
