About this board game

Dwarf is a competitive worker-placement and resource management game for 1–3 players, with approximately 60 minutes of play time. Players seek to accumulate the most wealth and forge the most legendary items while protecting their achievements from monster attacks.

Each game unfolds on a dynamic board made from a grid of cards. This board changes every round, ensuring that every play develops in a unique way. The shifting layout gives the game a changing foundation for worker placement and resource management.

Players take turns placing their workers, making choices within the evolving card grid. The goal is competitive, but emergent cooperative elements add another dimension as players face the threat of monster attacks and the need to protect what they have created.

Because the board is rebuilt from a changing grid of cards, no two games need to develop in exactly the same way. Players must balance their own ambitions with the pressures created by the monsters, producing a competitive experience with cooperative elements that emerge through play.

Dwarf supports solo play as well as games for two or three players. By integrating two copies, the game can also accommodate up to five players, expanding its changing-board competition to a larger group.
