Edo Promo #1: Special Authorization Cards is a promotional expansion for Edo, supporting 2–4 players and a 60-minute play time. Released in 2012, this first non-exclusive Kickstarter promo adds two cards that introduce a new type of action: Charter.

With a Charter action, you gain an important opportunity to delay your final decision. Instead of carrying out the Charter action itself, you can choose one of the actions shown on one of your unused action cards, provided you did not use that card earlier in the current turn.

This creates a more flexible way to plan your turn. You can wait to see how events develop before committing to the action you ultimately want to perform, helping you make a better-informed choice from your available options.
