About this board game

Empire Builder: Europe is a rail-building strategy game for 1–6 players that plays in about 120 minutes.

Using grease pencils on a map of Europe, players connect a network of dotted points across mountains, rivers, and cities. Every new line can open routes to valuable deliveries, but building an empire requires careful planning and cash management.

A stack of demand cards determines which goods are wanted and where they must be delivered. Load your trains with commodity-laden cargo, then choose routes that balance distance, cost, and opportunity. Longer journeys offer greater financial rewards, while shorter deliveries can provide a steadier flow of income.
