About this board game
Epic Armageddon is a mass-combat game for 2–8 players, with games lasting around 120 minutes, set in the nightmare future of the 41st Millennium.
These are battles on an immense scale, where armies of infantry, dozens of tanks, super-heavy tanks, and giant war engines such as Titans fight across worlds engulfed by war. Humanity faces alien invaders, usurpers, and traitors seeking to shatter the fragile Imperium of Man.
The rulebook provides everything needed to begin playing, alongside historical background, army lists, scenarios, and gaming advice. Its setting focuses on the fierce war surrounding Armageddon and the forces committed to the conflict.
- Imperial Guard armies of the Steel Legion Mechanized Infantry
- Space Marines of the Adeptus Astartes
- Titan Legions and aircraft of the Imperial Navy
- The Ork forces of Warlord Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka
As the fourth incarnation of Games Workshop’s Epic battles, Epic Armageddon differs substantially from earlier editions. It restores much of the detail lost in the third edition, Warhammer Epic 40,000, while presenting a full-color rulebook with stories and a set of rules designed to play smoothly.
The game combines the spectacle of massive conflicts with the distinctive forces and history of the Armageddon setting. Its content is expanded by Epic Swordwind, offering a further connection to the wider Epic battle experience.
