Era of Tribes: 5/6 player Expansion

About this expansion

Era of Tribes: 5/6 player Expansion is a 2019 expansion for 5–6 players, allowing Era of Tribes to be played with a larger group. With six players, tribes have less space to expand, creating even more interaction between players.

This expansion adds components in two distinctive colours: a wonderful light pink and a nice light to medium green. Together, these additions support games with five or six participants while giving the extra tribes their own clearly identifiable pieces.

The component set contains wooden pieces in both colours. Each colour includes the following:

• 36 vassals
• 8 round markers
• 2 cube markers
• 8 cities
• 4 leaders
• 1 triumphant march

That makes 118 wooden components in total across the two colours. The set includes additional vassals, cities, leaders, markers, and a triumphant march, providing the pieces needed to expand the player count.

The six-player option changes the feel of the table through increased competition for available space. As each tribe has less room to expand, player interaction becomes a more prominent part of the experience.

For groups looking to bring more participants into Era of Tribes, this expansion offers a straightforward way to play with five or six players. Its contrasting component colours and substantial collection of wooden pieces make it a useful addition for larger sessions.
