About this board game

Eternal Dynasty is a 2–5-player board game with an approximate 150-minute play time, combining territory control, worker placement, and political maneuvering.

Players take on the roles of feuding clans fighting for control of the 18 provinces of ancient China. Each game unfolds across a number of Generations equal to the number of players, with every Generation consisting of several rounds of play.

At the beginning of each Generation, players select a Ruler. This choice shapes the opportunities available during that stage of the game, as each Ruler brings distinct characteristics and a unique Ability.

• Different inherent bonuses for Military or Political Influence
• A specified number of cards to play during the Generation
• A unique Ability that distinguishes the chosen Ruler

As the Generations progress, players can adjust their strategies to suit a new Ruler or continue reinforcing the approaches they have already developed. The changing leadership structure gives each stage of the game a different strategic context while clans continue competing for influence and provincial control.

With its combination of map-based conflict, worker placement, cards, and political influence, Eternal Dynasty centers on decisions made across successive Generations. Select a Ruler, guide your clan’s direction, and contend with rival clans throughout ancient China.
