Fable Fury

About this board game

Fable Fury is a 1–6 player adventure game with an approximately 90-minute play time, sending unlikely heroes through whimsical but dangerous realms.

Choose a hero, gather starting gear, and begin exploring unknown lands filled with unconventional enemies, silly traps, helpful or harmful story encounters, and ancient shrines. Each realm uses six Story cards, four Enemies, two Traps, one Shrine, and one Portal, arranged face-down according to a random map card layout.

Players take turns as the Party Leader, deciding which unexplored location to reveal next. Discovering a Shrine lets the team heal and unlock new hero skills, while enemies test each hero’s build and teamwork. Attack with weapon dice, items, and skills, then earn coins and loot when you win.

At the Shrine, each hero draws three Skill cards matching their color-coded profile and chooses one to add to their hero. This lets you strengthen your build and select abilities that complement your team’s strategy.

• Explore: Reveal locations and resolve story encounters, traps, enemies, shrines, and portals.
• Level Up: Choose new skills, heal the team, and revive fallen allies at the Shrine.
• Shop: Spend coins on quirky loot, including pool noodles, toast, headphones, and other powerful upgrades.

After leaving a realm through its Portal, visiting the Gift Shop is mandatory before continuing. Complete three realms to collect three monster runes and unlock the ancient portal. Then confront one of three Final Monsters in the concluding battle.

With its colorful hero development, unpredictable encounters, and playful equipment, Fable Fury creates an escalating journey from first exploration to a decisive fight to save the realms.
