Field of Glory: The Card Game is a medium-complexity game for two players that recreates ancient and medieval battles in around 20–30 minutes.

Before the battle begins, each player constructs a deck of 24 unit cards. This army-building stage lets you decide which forces to bring into the fight, choosing from troop types inspired by the period, including heavy infantry, light cavalry, and elephants.

The battle takes place across a battlefield made from five terrain cards. To win, you must take control of three of them, turning positioning and carefully chosen engagements into the key to victory.

• Manage movement costs by discarding other cards.

Each army card has its own strengths and weaknesses, so selecting units is only the beginning. To play units onto the battlefield, you must discard other cards to pay the movement costs involved. Every decision can affect both your current attack and the options you will have later.
