Firefly: The Game – Fruity Oaty Bar Promo Card

About this expansion

Firefly: The Game – Fruity Oaty Bar Promo Card is a promotional card for 1–4 players, associated with a game listed with a 240-minute play time and released in 2016.

The Fruity Oaty Bar was included in the March 2016 Firefly Cargo Crate, a mystery subscription service by Loot Crate that delivered a collection of official Firefly collectibles every two months. As a promotional addition, the card offers a choice between improving a test and helping an owner recover from a specific condition.

Its first option can be used before rolling. Discard the card to add +1 to any test result, giving the card a clearly timed effect that can be saved for an important roll.

The second option provides a different kind of utility. Instead of modifying a test, discard the Fruity Oaty Bar to remove Disgruntled from the owner. This gives the card two distinct uses, allowing its value to depend on the situation at hand.

• Test boost: Discard before rolling to add +1 to any test result.
• Condition removal: Discard to remove Disgruntled from the owner.
• Product origin: Included in the March 2016 Firefly Cargo Crate from Loot Crate.

Because the card must be discarded when used, choosing between its two effects is central to getting the most from it. Players can decide whether a bonus to a test or removing Disgruntled is the more useful outcome at the moment.

Firefly: The Game – Fruity Oaty Bar Promo Card is therefore a compact promotional item with a straightforward choice of effects. Its official Firefly Cargo Crate origin and dual-purpose ability make it a distinct addition connected to the 2016 game release.
