About this expansion

Fireteam Zero: The Africa Cycle is a 1–4 player expansion for Fireteam Zero, with an approximate play time of 90 minutes. Released in 2014, it introduces a new monster family, new missions, double-sided map tiles, and gear that can be added to heroes as they progress.

The Africa Cycle brings the Thornspawn to the game. This new enemy family includes eight Scavengers, four Wooden Men, and Prime, a boss represented by an imposing 60mm-tall figure. Players can go head-to-head with these monsters across new locations and adventures.

The expansion includes a complete three-mission operation, along with three standalone missions:

  • Operation: Sticks and Bones: Sowing Seeds, Fertile Ground, and Reaping
  • Between the Bones of the Earth
  • Lost and Found
  • Clockwork

Four double-sided map tiles add new terrain to the available play space, helping create fresh locations for the included adventures. As heroes progress, they can also gain gear, expanding their equipment options during the campaign.

The gear from Fireteam Zero: The Africa Cycle can be used not only with this expansion, but also in the base game and other expansions. With its new monster family, distinctive boss figure, additional maps, and six missions, this expansion gives Fireteam Zero players a substantial new set of content to explore.
