About this board game
Fireworks is a 2–4 player board game with a play time of about 20 minutes, in which seven trainee cats compete to shoot the best fireworks in the world.
These young cats have trained hard for their profession and hope to become as expert as their master. Now, the important day is approaching, and every turn gives players a chance to prove their skill.
Players use the Fireworks Barrel to launch the Fireworks Die into the Starry Sky Box. The impact can knock Fireworks Tiles into play, creating the central moment of each turn.
- Launch the Fireworks Die with the Fireworks Barrel.
- Check which Fireworks Tiles land face up.
- Take a number of face-up tiles according to the die.
- Place the tiles on your Player Board to score points.
The die determines how many face-up Fireworks Tiles the active player takes. Those tiles are placed on the player’s board, turning each successful launch into points.
With its barrel, die, Starry Sky Box, tiles, and individual Player Boards, Fireworks gives every turn a clear connection between the launch and the score. The game’s simple objective remains constant: collect tiles and finish with more points than anyone else.
Released in 2017, Fireworks presents a compact competition built around a distinctive launching mechanism. Whether the cats are still rookies or aiming to match their master, the player who scores the most points wins.
