FITS Official Expansion

About this expansion

FITS Official Expansion adds four new and tricky boards for 1–4 players, with a playing time of 45 minutes. Released in 2009, this expansion features boards numbered 5 through 8, designed by Reiner Knizia himself.

Each board introduces a distinct challenge to the game. Board 5 features random 1s everywhere, creating a board filled with an unusual distribution of scoring spaces.

Boards 6 and 7 focus on difficult scoring positions. They contain lots of -5s alongside 1s and 2s, making their layouts especially tricky to navigate.

• Board 5: Random 1s everywhere.
• Boards 6 and 7: Numerous -5s, 1s, and 2s in tricky positions.
• Board 8: A variation of board 4 featuring trios of symbols.

Board 8 changes the scoring focus with groups of three symbols. You receive bonus points for covering exactly one symbol from a trio, but score minus points if you cover zero or two.

With four additional boards and several demanding scoring arrangements, FITS Official Expansion offers new layouts to explore while staying focused on the placement challenges of the game. Its range of board designs includes random values, negative scoring spaces, and a symbol-based variation that rewards precise coverage.
