About this expansion

Fleet: Trophy Cards is a six-card trophy module for 1–6 players, with games lasting about 30 minutes. It gives players visible achievement goals to pursue during the game or contest at the final scoring moment.

During setup, shuffle all Trophy Cards, randomly select three, and place them face up near the center of the play area. Each displayed card presents a specific accomplishment, creating a changing set of goals for the game.

  • Be first to launch and captain 4 boats of the same type.
  • Be first to launch and captain 4 boats of different types.
  • Be first to have 15 crates on launched boats.
  • Be first to have 3 licenses of the same type.
  • Have the most launched boats at game end.
  • Have the most standard licenses at game end.

Trophies go to the first player who completes the relevant criteria, or are awarded at game end for the two end-game Trophy Cards. If multiple players complete a first-to-achieve condition during the same phase and round, turn order breaks the tie. For a game-end Trophy, a tie means that no one receives it.

Once awarded, a Trophy Card cannot be lost. Every Trophy Card held at the end of the game is worth 5 victory points, so Trophy Cards can reward both early progress and final-position advantages. In Fleet: Trophy Cards, deciding when to pursue a public objective—and when to focus on the end-game awards—helps shape the race for victory.
