About this board game

Floating Floors is a tactical balancing game for 2–4 players, with play taking about 40 minutes. Each player becomes a ninja and an architect, shaping a labyrinth of floating floorboards that both rivals must navigate.

Your goal is to create a stable path toward your target while managing a shared challenge: the floorboards you arrange also become part of your rival’s route. Every decision can influence how easily either ninja crosses the shifting labyrinth.

The game’s central tension comes from the strategic use of jutsu tokens. Use them to keep your new ninja camouflaged with the surroundings, making your movements harder to read, while also looking for opportunities to sabotage the rival ninja’s path.

• Balance and arrange a labyrinth of floating floorboards.

• Search for the bansen seals hidden by your rival during setup.

At the beginning of the game, each rival conceals four bansen seals. The race is then on to navigate the constructed domain and claim them all, while protecting your own progress and interfering with the opposing ninja’s route.

The first ninja to claim all four bansen seals wins. With its combination of careful balancing, concealed objectives, camouflage, and sabotage, Floating Floors turns the playing area into both a puzzle to solve and a path to manipulate.
