About this board game

Fold-it! is a fast-paced cooking race for 1–5 players that takes about 20 minutes to play. Players compete to prepare recipe orders as quickly as possible by folding their individual recipe cloths.

At the start of each round, an order card is revealed. Everyone begins cooking at the same time, racing to fold their cloth so that it shows only the items displayed on the card. The challenge combines speed with a clever folding plan, since finishing quickly is not enough if the order is incorrect.

Each round tests two key skills:

• Fold the recipe cloth to display only the required items.
• Complete the order correctly before the other players.

The round ends once all players have finished their order. Anyone who made the order incorrectly or was the last to finish must give up a star token. With three stars at stake, every mistake and slow finish brings a player closer to elimination.

As the game continues, players race to preserve their remaining stars while solving each new order card. The pressure builds as the field gets smaller, and only one player is ultimately left with a star token.

First released in 2016, Fold-it! offers a compact contest of hand speed and visual planning. Whether you are trying to find the quickest fold or avoid a costly error, every order creates a direct race from reveal to completion. The last player still holding a star token wins the game.
