About this expansion

Food Chain Island: Tough Skies is a solo, 15-minute expansion for one player, released in 2020. It adds beautiful yet tough air animals that make your arrangement efforts even harder.

This expansion contains three cards. At the beginning of the game, shuffle them and place one card face-up into the play area. The other cards are not used for that game.

During play, the face-up air animal becomes an important part of your decisions. You must activate, resolve, and discard it, and the air animal must be resolved before the end of the game.

• Use one, two, or all three air animals for increasing challenge

For the standard challenge, use one shuffled card. If you want to make your game more demanding, use two or all three air animals as an additional challenge. Each option adds more tough skies to your arrangements.
