About this board game

Food Chain Island is a one-player animal-arranging game released in 2020, with a play time of about 15 minutes.

On a forgotten island in a tiny corner of the ocean, the animals are hungry. Your goal is to influence the wildlife and arrange their meals so that only one land animal card remains on the table.

The game begins with a grid of 16 animal cards. Each turn, you must move one animal so it can eat another smaller, adjacent animal. Every successful move changes the island’s wildlife and reduces the number of cards in play.

Food Chain Island challenges you to keep the feeding chain going for as many turns as possible. The central objective is straightforward, but every move must follow the requirement that one animal eats a smaller neighboring animal.

If no animal can move to eat another, the game ends. Success comes from arranging the available wildlife so that the chain continues and the island is eventually reduced to a single remaining animal card.
