About this board game

For Crown & Kingdom is a board game for 2–4 players, played in about 45 minutes, in which rival dukes and duchesses compete to become the next monarch.

The king lies weakened on his deathbed and has failed to produce an heir. With the throne in question, each local duke or duchess launches a heroic campaign to earn the approval of the people and secure the crown.

Players command teams of specialized emissaries as they travel throughout the kingdom. Their campaigns focus on building support while managing the challenges posed by competing claimants.

Every rival is pursuing the same ultimate goal, so each campaign must contend with the actions of the other dukes and duchesses. Use your emissaries to advance your claim while hindering those who stand between you and the throne.

In For Crown & Kingdom, victory goes to the first duke or duchess who gains support in every region. Complete that kingdom-wide campaign, and you will be declared the new monarch.
