About this board game

For Honor and Glory: War of 1812 Land and Naval Battles is a 2–4-player board game with a 30-minute play time, covering major land battles and naval engagements from the War of 1812.

England is fighting Napoleon in Europe while American shipping is seized and American sailors are impressed by the British Navy. America enters the war to restore its honor and possibly capture Canada, setting the stage for battles across land and water.

Take command in scenarios featuring famous clashes such as Queenston Heights, the Battle of the Thames, Chippawa, Lundy’s Lane, Bladensburg, and New Orleans. The land scenarios span the war from October 1812 through January 1815, including Jackson’s Night Attack and the battle fought after the war was officially over.

Naval scenarios place you in command of ships including USS Constitution, USS Chesapeake, USS Essex, and USS President. Face British vessels in engagements such as Lake Erie, Lake Champlain, Constitution versus Guerriere, Chesapeake versus Shannon, and Essex versus Phoebe and Cherub.

  • Land map and naval map
  • Terrain tiles and hardwood wooden counters
  • Ship miniatures, labels, dice, rules, and scenario booklets

With separate land and naval scenarios, For Honor and Glory offers a focused way to explore the War of 1812 through battles involving American and British forces. Decide whether you can bring the British Navy to its knees—or prevail in the pivotal land actions that shaped the conflict.
