About this board game

Forage is a puzzly tableau-building roll-and-write game for 1–6 players, with plays lasting about 30 minutes. Featuring gorgeous artwork by Beth Sobel, it invites you to shape a unique foraging journey through exploration, storage, gift-giving, and clever tableau development.

Each round, roll the forage dice and reveal a unique journey tile. Choose a combination of dice to take one of three actions: explore, store, or give gifts. As you act, you can earn bonuses that power up future actions or allow additional moves, making every decision part of a larger plan.

• Exploration cards: Traverse forest trails and collect bonuses by surrounding them in a spatial puzzle that grows as you add cards to your tableau.
• Pantry cards: Store goods in jars and unlock bonuses by completing rows and columns within your shelves.
• Gift-giving cards: Gather ingredients in exact quantities to produce gifts that provide immediate and end-game scoring bonuses.

After completing your turn, choose one of three card types to draw and add to your tableau. As the game progresses, your options expand while your scoring conditions change, creating new opportunities for combinations and completed goals.

With more than 90 unique exploration, pantry, and gift-giving cards, every game offers a distinct path through the forest. Six unique double-sided goal cards and 27 unique journey tiles encourage interaction and strategic thinking throughout the game.
