About this board game

Forest of Fate is a social card game for 2–6 players, with games lasting around 60 minutes. Work together to guide a party of up to six characters through a dangerous forest and return to The Finishing Post, your local tavern, with an unforgettable story to tell.

Your quest is already complete, but the journey home is only beginning. Along a randomly arranged path, your party will face beasts, bandits, and the dangers of nature. Each encounter presents surprising possibilities, with outcomes resolved through your chosen approach and skill by consulting the printed or digital story book.

Every game creates a different adventure. Choose a set of encounter cards and place them in a path of your design, then rely on teamwork, negotiation, strategy, and the distinct skills and abilities of your characters to overcome what lies ahead.

The Forest is unforgiving. Characters can lose life points and fail to make it home, and it is possible for the entire party to perish. When a character becomes a Shade, their card reveals a powerful new ability that can hinder the surviving party—if they correctly predict its next move.
