Fractal: Beyond the Void is a story-driven 4X strategy game for 2–4 players, with an approximately 120-minute play time. Set millennia after the collapse of the Federation, the greatest empire to rule the galaxy, it challenges players to rebuild their civilizations and reclaim their former glory.

As species escape their dying worlds and return to the stars, every faction pursues the same goal: restoring its civilization. Yet there can be only one ruler. The galaxy is ever-changing, and every victory, defeat, and decision can influence the fate of the universe.

The first campaign, Beyond the Void, uses Fractal’s custom legacy framework, called the Aftermath. It delivers a full narrative experience in which actions have consequences, allowing the campaign’s story to develop through the choices and results of everyone at the table.

• Expand factions by unlocking new governments and masteries.
• Discover five additional factions, each with unique mechanics and gameplay.
• Use discovered factions freely in the core experience after encountering them during the campaign.
• Play the solo or cooperative experience with the Alliance expansion.

The campaign also pushes each faction’s natural asymmetry further as new options are unlocked. This gives the evolving struggle for galactic dominance a changing strategic landscape while keeping the narrative consequences at the center of play.

This Collector Edition includes the core game, the Beyond the Void campaign, Kickstarter-exclusive acrylic colony tokens, a metal first-player token, and the solo/cooperative Alliance expansion. Released in 2023, Fractal: Beyond the Void combines civilization rebuilding, asymmetric development, and a consequential legacy setting in one expansive experience.
