Francis Drake: Spain’s Revenge Expansion is a 2013 expansion for 3–5 players, designed for games lasting about 120 minutes. It adds replacement tiles to the Elizabethan-era adventure of Francis Drake, in which players seek to emulate the legendary English hero viewed by Spain as a pirate.

In the base game, each player charts a course toward the riches of the Aztec and Incan Empires. Across the game, every player must complete three missions while pursuing those riches and facing the forces protecting Spain’s interests.

Spain’s Revenge changes the Spanish opposition by replacing the original Spanish Troops and Spanish Frigates with new tiles. These replacements give more strength to the forts and place the best admirals in command of the treasure fleet’s protection.
